poker free week

haven't gotten to the tables much this week well not at all to tell the truth i've had a late night every night this week and just been to tired to play,i had planned to play in the online forum challenge but for some reason i couldn't register to a table so i missed out on playing, i've got myself set for july going to set my goals to play a few tournaments and sit n goes for the month on a regular bases when i can (unless work jumps in the road again) my goals for the upcoming month is to play at least one tournament a week (not counting AOPL games) and at least 2 sit n goes ,only small goals but they're a start til i have more time.

i'll be getting back into playing some live table games soon starting this coming week if i can i'll try anyway,starting with some pub league games with the APL maybe tomorrow afternoon haven't played one of thoses for a couple of months now,it'll be good to see everyone again.

i'm still keeping up to date with the WSOP thru pokernews seems i do more watching then playing these days.
the only other thing aside from work and watching Queensland win the state of origin (ha ha just had to put that in) is placing a few bets today and getting a phone call that came up as private at 1.20am thursday morning who the hell rings up anyone at that time?? wasn't impressed.


well i haven't much else to write about this week it's been a busy one but things should slow up for me to get back to the tables so it's looking good from here on.

hey all i'm back again had a busy week this week so i haven't had a chance to play much poker at all but things have slowed down a little and i'll be back into it a little later this afternoon i hope,i've gone and signed up to play in the online forum challenge next week going to represent the AOPL over on fulltilt OFC so i'm hoping nothing pops up so i can play, the local races are on today so i'll be swapping the table for the track, today woke to find it's a mixed sort of day suns trying to shine and the clouds are trying to rain so rugging up for that.

having a much better week with the poker came 2nd twice in a couple of sit n goes and also re downloaded a couple of sites that i'm giving another go with and found i still had a little bit of money in one so that was a nice surprise, that's a win right there isn't it? i'll treat it like that anyway lol.
over at AOPL a new gold members group has been started and i was lucky enough to be made a member not sure what will be bonus so far except that the members are confirmed aussie players but looking forward as it develops .

I've become addicted to this twitter i post updates from games i play even home games as they are going on,now i have a question i have some pro players i am following and see they are updating their games as the wsop is on from their tables but i got told mobile phones were meant to be barred when you were at the table (even though i do it too ) now does anyone know the ruling cause i've asked a few of the pro's on twitter and none of them bother to answer (yeah i know they are busy but a reply when the games over would be nice) so if anyone knows can you tell me please .

time to catch up

well i'm back again sorry about the lack of updates i'll try to update a bit more dirung the week get a little busy sometimes.
no longer house hunting or selling going to stay where i am so now i just have to clear my head and play some poker.
i have learnt the hardway to not sit down without a clear head to play poker this week,sat down a couple of small limit games just 5c/10c to kill a little time, i couldn't seem to do any good at these no matter what i raised or bet it was called and chased and killed on the river everytime, i let frustration get the best of me and lost my stack it seemed if i slow played i lost if i raised i lost,lucky it was only $3 but still,ended up playing a freeroll on pokerhost after but ended up getting visitors in the middle of the game which distracted me from the table so wasn't really concentrating on what i was doing but finished 168th from 750 players top 110 got some money so i don't think that was so bad after the distractions and all.
and finally the third game was friday night with the end of month game with the AOPL had trouble from the start of this the room refused to open up and when it did something like 20 minutes had past and about 20 minutes after that my poket kings get killed by quad 4's (they had pocket 4's) so i guess it wasn't to be,not really a great week for poker but a little time to clear my head i'll be back at the tables.
so in a little bit i'll be back to grinding it out and working on my flaws and i'll see where that takes me.

but today i'm going to sit back and listen to the rain and just relax .
